Good job this past Sunday Jones Chapel! Thanks to everyone who gave an extra effort learning the new songs it really made a difference. We will  take a little breather over the next couple weeks on new material and focus towards Easter ( April 20, 2025). We will be hymn heavy with other familiar songs.  We will prepare the song Its in my Heart for 5th Sunday along with I Came to Magify the Lord for first Sunday in April. I'm Still Holding on - Diane for 5th Sunday and God Is a Good God - Vernon.  Some other hymns we will mix in:

Looking toward 2nd Sunday in April, God Said It-Margie, Everybody Clap Tour Hands,  and I'd like to attempt a new song Footprints of Jesus - 113. Footprints we will do without a lead, same basic meoldy but this was the only recording that I could find that was close. Glad to find it though, Lucie E. Campbell  was a prominent figure in gospel music being the music director for the National Baptist Convention in the early 1900's. Two new songs for Easter, Let's Celebrate and The Blood Still Works. We will have a listening session with these new songs meaning we will listen to them and I will walk you through them to point out how to pactice them in anticipation for our next rehearsal April 12, 2025.
